Revit 2014 Graphics issues

Thanks to the The Revit Jedi - Revit 2014 Graphics issue / disappearing ribbon

So there is a knows issue when installing Revit 2014 on computers that already have Revit 2013 and 2012 installed, apparently the earlier versions (2013-2012) have ribbon graphics issues....

experience graphics issues with Revit 2014...problems with graphics, filled regions and then the ribbon started acting up and disappearing....

We were getting issues like this:

SOLUTION:  download and install the .net framework 4.5

The graphics issues seem to have been resolved now.....

I'll report back with my findings.....

Workset Rules to Live By -

Great list from: Daryl Gregoire at REVIT Rocks !

Thanks Daryl!

1. Create a new local file every day and over write the previous file.

2. Check out and borrow what you need for editing.

3. Save and sync and relinquish as often as possible or when you leave your desk.

4. Use Reload Latest to do a one way loading of other peoples changes (if nothing has changed it will tell you).

5. Don’t leave an open project hanging for any length of time (ie: on the phone, in a meeting, away for lunch etc).

6. Save, Sync and relinquish and close the local file at the end of the day.

7. If rule #6 is broken you shall be banished back to the AutoCAD world for EVER !.

Keep these in mind and save your BIM Coordinator a headache!
